SuperEMR – SuperEMR is a web-based electronic medical records (EMR) system which is a proven and comprehensive integrated health information solution that has been widely adopted by physicians for years. The system is designed by doctors, not information technology driven. The system offers a full suite of tools to create a paperless and efficient workflow of medical record information for doctors and imaging centers internally within their offices and externally with other doctors, imaging centers, laboratories, insurance companies, pharmacies. Offering scheduling, checking-in, care management, reporting, and billing, SuperEMR is an intuitive system allowing for continuous care among all doctors, accessible through PCs and Smart phones.SuperEMR has been enhanced to be an electronic medical record solution for hospitals.

The following highlights some of the modules that are readily available for a hospital implementation:

• User friendly patient dashboard - Comprehensive summary of patient treatment status on one page, with easy access to notes from doctors and nurses, surgery planning and reporting, laboratory orders results, imaging tests, consultation reports, vitals, and medication history
• Computerized physician order entry (CPOE) - a process of electronic entry of medical practitioner instructions for the treatment of patients under his or her care. The system has medical care templates that are tailored for various specialties – e.g., cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, and physical therapy.
• Emergency Room or Inpatient workflow - a streamlined workflow from check-in è triage è physician visits, SOAP notes, laboratory orders, imaging or any test orders  è vitals monitoring è medications è lab results integration è imaging results (dicom) integration è transfer or discharge 
• Surgery – a comprehensive worksheet to manage pre-, during, and post surgery checklist items.
• Picture Archival and Communication Solution – a system that integrates and stores the medical imaging results (in DICOM format) from the various modalities like MRI, CT, Nuclear, Ultrasound, and X-ray. Seamless integration has also been developed and used in state-of-the-art imaging centers for select imaging equipment models from Siemens, Philips, Mortara, GE, and etc.  
• Integration with Laboratories – seamless connectivity with laboratory information system using industry standard (HL7) or proprietary protocol.
• E-Prescription – The module include the ability to manage medication history of patients, electronically dispensing of prescription orders from doctors. The system also features drug-drug interaction and a yearly updated FDA drug database.
• Evidence based care management – The system has auto-reporting capabilities on suggested medical care measures appropriate for a patient, based on his/her age, sex, medical condition and history. The checklist approach greatly enhances the quality of patient care. Additionally, the system facilitates  reporting for Pay for Performance reporting.
• Continuity of Care reporting – The system can generate an electronic or paper report for patients or patients’ primary care physicians when they are discharged from the hospital
• Integration with insurance companies and integrated billing capability – the system has data entry capability to enter the charges to generate electronic or paper claims for insurance companies. Automated charge capture of most procedures enhances efficiency and accuracy for claims generation. The system also has a comprehensive suite of receivables management routines to manage outstanding receivables.  
• Patient Portal – Patients or their family members can access the patients’ medical record via the Internet.
• Wellness Module – Our web-based wellness module allows healthcare providers or corporations to offer a proactive wellness management program to individuals to facilitate the prevention and management of diseases, the continual care and monitoring of patients with chronic diseases in between office visits with physicians, and of patients discharged from hospitals.
• Multi- Language Support – Our system is designed to support multi-languages. We are currently in discussion with a hospital in China to implement a Chinese version of our system for them.
